FitsYourCar answers one kind of question: what size does my car take? Wiper blades, headlight bulbs, tires, wheels, lug nuts, TPMS sensors, the coin cell in the key fob. The facts a person needs standing in a parts aisle or a driveway, and the facts most easily got wrong by sites that copy one another.

The site is built and maintained by a small independent publisher, the same one behind MyOilType, which covers oil, filters and fluids. The two sites share a mascot, a method and a stubbornness about sources, and nothing else: each fact here was checked for this site from the owner's manual and the part makers' own guides. The small teal car on every page is Ollie. He has a sibling in navy over on MyOilType. He is here to make a reference site a little less grim, and he has strong opinions about wiper connectors.
