Worth knowing about the 2024 Blazer

  • Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
  • Tires. Low-profile chains may be fitted only on 235/65R18 tires.
  • Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 140 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
  • TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool (the manual's TPMS sensor matching process with a relearn tool)); they will not pair on their own by driving.
  • Key fob. Match the FCC ID (YG0G21TB2) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
  • Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
  • Roof. The limit includes the cross rails and any carrier or accessory on them.
  • Fuel. AWD models hold 21.7 gallons.
