Worth knowing about the 2026 Blazer
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tires. Low-profile chains may be fitted only on 235/65R18 tires.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 140 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool (the manual's TPMS sensor matching process with a relearn tool)); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit includes the cross rails and any carrier or accessory on them.
