Worth knowing about the 2018 Cruze
- Wipers. The front wiper arms use a push-button connector rather than a J-hook.
- Tires. Low-profile chains may be fitted only on 195/65R15 and 205/55R16 tires, and depending on trim the car carries a compact spare or a tire sealant and compressor kit.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool (the manual's TPMS sensor matching process with a relearn tool)); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Cars with Keyless Open and Start use a smart key, and the others a flip key; both take the same cell.
- Fuel. LS models with the automatic transmission hold 12.0 gallons, and the diesel 13.5 gallons.
