Worth knowing about the 2023 Trailblazer
- Wipers. The front wiper arms use a push-button connector rather than a J-hook.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual says not to fit tire chains on this vehicle; wheel-well clearance is too tight.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool (the manual's TPMS sensor matching process with a relearn tool)); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Models with Keyless Open and Start use a smart key, and the others a flip key; both take the same cell.
- Roof load. The 165 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
