Worth knowing about the 2019 Pacifica
- LED lighting. The daytime running, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Low beams differ by headlamp (H11LL in reflector halogen lamps, 9005HL+ in projector halogen lamps and dealer-serviced D3S in HID lamps), and vans with HID headlamps use a PWY24WSV front turn bulb.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The manual allows front-only snow devices with no more than 9 mm projection on 235/65R17 and 235/60R18 tires.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. The Pacifica Hybrid has its own owner's manual and is not included here.
- Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The crossbars stow inside the side rails and must be swung out before carrying any roof load.
- Fuel. The Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid has its own manual and a smaller tank.
