Worth knowing about the 2019 Challenger
- LED lighting. The front turn signal, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The manual lists H11LL fog bulbs, and models with HID headlamps use D3S bulbs that a dealer services.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The manual calls for rear-only devices: a Peerless Super Z6 low-profile type on the RWD 235/55R18 and an S Class type on the AWD 235/55R19.
- Wheels. The manual gives 130 ft-lbf for standard models and 111 ft-lbf for SRT models.
- Fuel. The 5.7-liter V8 recommends 89 octane with the automatic and needs 91 or higher with the manual transmission, and the 6.4-liter needs 91 or higher.
