The size on the placard inside the driver's door jamb is the one your car left the factory with. Match that, not this table, if they differ; a previous owner may have changed wheels.

Worth knowing about the 2018 Charger
- LED lighting. The fog light, front turn signal, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The halogen bi-function projector headlamps use one bulb for low and high beam, and HID headlamps use D3S bulbs that a dealer services.
- Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables, within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
- Tires. The manual allows rear-only devices: a Peerless Super Z6 low-profile type on P215/65R17, P225/60R18 and 235/55R18, and an S Class device on the AWD 235/55R19.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 130 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. This torque figure is from the standard owner's manual, which does not cover SRT models.
- Fuel. The 5.7-liter V8 recommends 89 octane with 87 acceptable, and the 6.4-liter V8 needs 91 or higher.
