Worth knowing about the 2020 Charger
- LED lighting. The fog light, front turn signal, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The halogen bi-function projector headlamps use one bulb for low and high beam, and HID headlamps use D3S bulbs that a dealer services.
- Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables, within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
- Tires. The manual allows rear-only devices on non-SRT models: a Peerless Super Z6 type on the RWD P215/65R17 and an S Class device on the AWD P235/55R19.
- Wheels. The manual gives 130 ft-lbs for base models and 111 ft-lbs for SRT models.
- Fuel. The 5.7-liter V8 recommends 89 octane with 87 acceptable, and the 6.4-liter and supercharged 6.2-liter V8s need 91 or higher.
