Worth knowing about the 2022 Charger
- LED lighting. The fog light, daytime running, front turn signal, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The manual lists 9005SL+ bi-function halogen projector headlamps, and HID headlamps use D3S bulbs that a dealer services.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The manual allows rear-only devices on the RWD P215/65R17 and P225/60R18 (Peerless Super Z6 type) and the AWD 235/55R19 (S Class type), and none on the Scat Pack.
- Wheels. The manual gives 130 ft-lbf for standard models and 111 ft-lbf for SRT models.
- Fuel. The 5.7-liter V8 recommends 89 octane, with 87 acceptable.
