Worth knowing about the 2015 Durango
- LED lighting. The rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The HIR2 code is for the bi-halogen projector headlamps; bi-xenon (D3S) lamps are dealer-serviced.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 130 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Garage fit. Allow 16.8 ft of length and 7.2 ft of width with the mirrors out.
- Fuel. The 5.7-liter V8 recommends 89 octane, with 87 acceptable.
