The 2024 Dodge Durango has sealed LED headlights with no replaceable low-beam bulb, and rides on P265/60R18 tires as standard (SXT); GT and R/T and Citadel and SXT with Blacktop or Anodized Platinum package use P265/50R20, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat and R/T with Tow N Go use P295/45ZR20.

Worth knowing about the 2024 Durango

  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. The 7444NA front turn bulb is in the base reflector lamps; premium front lamps use dealer-serviced LEDs.
  • Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
  • Tires. The manual allows rear-only Thule XG-12 Pro type devices on 265/60R18 and 265/50R20 tires and, on AWD models, the SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat 295/45ZR20.
  • Wheels. The manual gives 130 ft-lbf for standard models and 110 ft-lbf for SRT models.
  • Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
  • Roof. The crossbars stow inside the side rails and must be swung out before carrying any roof load.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the SXT RWD; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
  • Fuel. The 5.7-liter V8 recommends 89 octane, with 87 acceptable, and SRT engines need 91 or higher.
