Worth knowing about the 2020 Grand Caravan
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- LED lighting. The rear turn signal, brake light, tail light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The manual specifies the long-life H11LL version of the H11 headlamp bulb, used for both low and high beams.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The manual allows traction devices on the front tires only, and on the 225/65R17 tire recommends a low-profile device such as the Peerless Super Z6.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (IYZ-C01C) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. The Fobik key comes in versions with three to seven buttons depending on power doors, liftgate and remote start, so match the buttons on your key.
- Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit applies with the stowable crossbars deployed, and the manual says not to carry roof loads with the crossbars stowed.
- Garage fit. Allow 17 ft of length and 7.4 ft of width with the mirrors out.
