Worth knowing about the 2024 Bronco Sport
- LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, tail light, license plate, dome / map light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The manual lists a P27 stop lamp bulb, which no bulb maker lookup confirmed.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Cables or chains of 10 mm or less go on the front axle only with 225/65R17 and 225/60R18 tires, never on 235/65R17.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit drops to 100 lb on vehicles with the panoramic glass roof.
- Octane. The manual requires 87 octane and recommends 91 for full performance. Regular will not harm the engine; premium is a choice, not a requirement.
