Worth knowing about the 2023 Bronco
- Wipers. Both front blades are the same 17-inch Motorcraft WW-1703; the arm connector is not confirmed, so check your arm before buying a non-Motorcraft blade.
- LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, front turn signal, dome / map light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. WT21W reverse bulbs are on low-series rear lamps only; high-series rear lamps, including stop, tail and rear turn, are sealed LED.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. Raptor wheels use M14 x 1.5 nuts torqued to 150 lb-ft.
- Roof load. The 110 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. Load the factory roof rack crossbars only; the limit is 0 lb on vehicles with 37x12.50R17 tires (Raptor).
- Octane. The manual recommends 91 octane for full performance and allows 87. 87 will not harm the engine; the higher grade is a choice, not a requirement.
- Fuel. The 4-door (long wheelbase) holds 21.1 gal; the 2-door holds 17.4 gal.
