Wiper blade sizes
Tire sizes by trim
The size on the placard inside the driver's door jamb is the one your car left the factory with. Match that, not this table, if they differ; a previous owner may have changed wheels.
Bulb sizes
Wheel specs and lug torque
Key fob, battery and sensors
Bed sizes by configuration
Bed lengths are the maker's nominal figures measured at the floor. Tonneau covers and liners are sold by the nominal length (5-ft, 6-ft, 8-ft), so match that, not the inch figure.

Worth knowing about the 2012 F-150
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. The H13 is a single dual-filament headlamp bulb also sold as 9008.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a full-size spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
- Tires. The manual allows only SAE Class S chains and forbids them on the P265/60R18, P275/65R18, LT275/65R18, LT315/70R17, P275/55R20 and P275/45R22 sizes.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 150 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. Retighten the lug nuts to the specified torque within 100 miles after any wheel is removed, as the manual directs.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car will not pair on their own by driving; they need a relearn. Method: tool, or the manual's deflate-each-tire reset sequence.
- Key fob. Trucks with push-button start use an Intelligent Access key instead.
- Fuel. The manual recommends premium fuel for the 3.5L EcoBoost when towing, and a 36-gallon tank was optional.
