Worth knowing about the 2017 F-350
- LED lighting. The dome / map light is a sealed LED unit with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Codes are for low-series trucks, and high-series trucks have sealed LED rear lamps and license lamps.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 165 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. Retighten the lug nuts to 165 lb-ft after 100 miles, and on dual-rear-wheel trucks again at 500 miles of new-vehicle use, as the manual directs.
- Fuel. The Power Stroke diesel version runs on diesel fuel, and tank size depends on wheelbase and engine.
- Battery. Diesel trucks carry two of these batteries.
