Worth knowing about the 2012 Focus
- Wipers. The rear blade is fitted to the hatchback only.
- LED lighting. The license plate is a sealed LED unit with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Fuel. Flex-fuel 2.0L models can also run on E85.
