Worth knowing about the 2011 Mustang
- LED lighting. The rear turn signal, brake light, tail light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. GT fog lamps take 9145 and V6 fog lamps take H11, and cars with HID headlamps use a D3S.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. Retighten the lug nuts to 100 lb-ft at 500 miles after any wheel is removed, as the manual directs.
