Worth knowing about the 2013 Mustang
- LED lighting. The rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The manual lists one D3S HID bulb per headlamp and no separate high-beam bulb, and the H11 fog bulb is for the V6 because GT fog lamps are sealed LED.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. Retighten the lug nuts to 100 lb-ft within 100 miles after any wheel is removed, as the manual directs.
