Worth knowing about the 2022 Acadia
- Wipers. The manual lists a 45 cm passenger blade while Bosch and Trico list 20 inches, so the passenger length is left open.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 140 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Locksmith catalogs list both the HYQ1EA and HYQ1ES smart keys for this year, so check the ID printed on the key.
- Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit includes the cross rails and any carrier or accessory on them.
- Fuel. AWD models hold 21.7 gallons.
