Worth knowing about the 2015 Sierra 1500
- Wipers. Rain-X lists GM's 'Stylized PTB' arm for this truck, which no second fit guide confirmed, so the connector is left blank.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a full-size spare.
- Tires. These are the sizes the owner's manual names for this truck; it does not tie them to trims, so check the door placard for yours.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 140 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool (the manual's TPMS sensor matching process)); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Bed. GM gives 51.0 inches as the inside width at the floor for every box.
- Fuel. The 26-gallon tank is for short and standard boxes; long-box trucks hold 34 gallons, and the manual recommends 91 octane for the 6.2L V8.
