Worth knowing about the 2023 Terrain
- Wipers. Some blade makers list a 13-inch rear blade where the manual gives 30 cm, so match the rear by the GM part number.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. The smart key came in 3-, 4- and 5-button versions depending on remote start and power liftgate.
- Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. Denali models are limited to 143 lb (FWD) or 110 lb (AWD), and 88 lb (FWD) or 55 lb (AWD) with the sunroof.
- Fuel. AWD models hold 15.6 gallons.
