Worth knowing about the 2016 Accord

  • Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
  • LED lighting. The fog light, tail light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. Touring has sealed LED headlights and front turn signals, and some trims have LED brake lights in place of the 7440 bulb.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.

  • Tires. The compact spare is a T135/90D16 with 16- and 17-in wheels and a T135/80D17 with 19-in wheels.
  • Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
  • Key fob. EX and higher trims use a smart key (FCC ID ACJ932HK1310A) that takes a CR2032 cell instead.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the Sedan, LX; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
