Worth knowing about the 2010 Civic
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. Fog lights are on the Si only, and the inner taillights take a 168 bulb.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only, of the SCC cable types the manual names; the Si's optional 215/45ZR17 summer tires also run 33 psi, and the spare is a T125/70D15, a T135/80D16 on the EX-L, or a T135/80R16 on the Si.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (N5F-S0084A) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. The DX has no remote entry, so it uses a plain key.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the Sedan; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
- Dimensions. These figures are for the sedan; the two-door Civic Coupe sold alongside it is a different body.
- Fuel. The Si calls for premium fuel of 91 octane or higher.
