Worth knowing about the 2015 Fit
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Rear blade. The rear blade is an OEM-specific fitting (76730-T5A-003); most aftermarket rear blades for this car are sold by that part number rather than by length.
- Wipers. Blade makers list the passenger blade as 13 or 14 in; Honda's own passenger blade is 350 mm.
- LED lighting. The brake light, tail light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. One 9003 (HB2) bulb serves both high and low beam, fog lights are on EX and EX-L, and the brake and tail lights are sealed LED units.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only (the manual names SCC cable chain SC1026), and the compact spare is a T135/80D15.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (MLBHLIK6-1T) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. EX and EX-L use a smart key (FCC ID KR5V1X) that takes a CR2032 cell instead.
