Worth knowing about the 2019 Fit
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Rear blade. The rear blade is an OEM-specific fitting (76730-T5A-003); most aftermarket rear blades for this car are sold by that part number rather than by length.
- Wipers. Some blade makers list a 13 in passenger blade; Honda's own passenger blade is 350 mm.
- LED lighting. The brake light is a sealed LED unit with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. One 9003 (HB2) bulb serves both high and low beam, fog lights are on Sport, EX and EX-L only, and the brake and tail lights are sealed LED units.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables, within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only (the manual recommends SCC Radial Chain SC1026 cable chains), and the compact spare is a T135/80D15.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. The remote-head key takes a CR1620 and the EX and EX-L smart key takes a CR2032.
