Worth knowing about the 2025 Ridgeline
- Wipers. The front connector type is not confirmed, so choose blades listed for this model.
- LED lighting. The low beam, fog light, brake light, tail light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. One HB3 (9005) high-beam bulb also serves as the daytime running light on models without LED parking lights.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only (the manual recommends SCC Super Z LT-ZT735 cable chains), and the compact spare is a T165/90R17.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 94 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (KR5T41) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. Models with driver-seat memory use memory-coded keys (72147-T6Z-A61 or -A71) with the same FCC ID.
- Roof load. The 165 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit is for cargo on the Honda accessory roof rack.
- Dimensions. Curb weight is for the Sport; other trims weigh up to 4,504 lb.
- Bed. The bed is 83 inches long with the tailgate down, and the lockable In-Bed Trunk sits under the floor.
