Worth knowing about the 2015 Elantra
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Wipers. Blade makers list the passenger blade as 13 or 14 in; Rain-X and Valeo list 14.
- Bulbs. Models with projector headlights take a 9005 low-beam bulb, and cars with LED taillights have no replaceable tail bulb.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only; cars without the T125/80D15 compact spare carry a Tire Mobility Kit.
- Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 65 to 79 lb-ft.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool (a Hyundai dealer initiates new sensors)); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (OSLOKA-360T) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. Models with the proximity key use a smart key that also takes a CR2032 cell.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the Sedan, manual transmission; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
- Dimensions. These figures are for the sedan; the Elantra Coupe and GT sold alongside it are different bodies.
- Fuel. The 1.8-liter car's tank holds 12.68 US gallons (48 liters) per the manual.
