Worth knowing about the 2023 Kona
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Wipers. The rear blade is an 11-inch integral type that clips to Hyundai's own arm, so buy one listed for this model.
- LED lighting. The daytime running is a sealed LED unit with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Trims with LED headlights and taillights have sealed units in those positions.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tires. Chains (SAE Class S or wire type, wire only on aluminum wheels) go on the front tires, and cars without the T125/80D16 compact spare carry a tire mobility kit instead.
- Wheels. The manual gives wheel nut torque as a range, 79 to 94 lb-ft (11 to 13 kgf-m), rather than a single figure.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (2AV76-NMOK-451T) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. Trims with push-button start use a smart key that also takes a CR2032.
- Roof load. The 176 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the 2.0L 2WD; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
