Worth knowing about the 2025 Palisade

  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, daytime running, front turn signal are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. The manual lists a P28/8W bulb for the tail, brake and rear turn lamps on trims without LED taillamps.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
  • Tires. The compact spare is a T155/90R18, and the manual allows SAE Class S or wire chains on the front tires but says not to fit chains to aluminum wheels and to use wire chains under 0.59 in. thick if that cannot be avoided.
  • Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 79 to 94 lb-ft.
  • TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
  • Key fob. From 2023 the smart key comes in several button layouts and FCC IDs by trim, so match the ID printed on your fob.
  • Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
  • Roof. The 220 lb limit is for cargo spread evenly on the roof side rails and crossbars.
  • Dimensions. GVWR is 5,732 lb with front-wheel drive and 5,871 lb with HTRAC all-wheel drive.
