Worth knowing about the 2015 Sonata
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. Cars with HID headlights use a D3S bulb, and the position lamps and daytime running lights are LED.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only and not on aluminum wheels unless wire type; cars carry a T125/80D16 or T135/80D17 compact spare or a tire mobility kit.
- Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 65 to 79 lb-ft.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (TQ8-RKE-4F16) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. This is the SE flip key; Eco and higher trims use a proximity smart key that also takes a CR2032 cell.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the Sedan, 2.4L; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
- Dimensions. The manual and brochure disagree on length and wheelbase, so only width and height are shown.
- Fuel. The manual lists the tank as 18.5 US gallons.
