Worth knowing about the 2015 Tucson
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The compact spare is a T155/90D16 at 60 psi; the manual says not to fit chains to aluminum wheels unless they are wire type.
- Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 65 to 79 lb-ft.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (OSLOKA-850T) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. The Limited uses a proximity smart key instead of this remote.
- Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. SE and Limited have roof side rails; the manual's 220-lb limit is for load spread evenly on the rack.
- Dimensions. The manual and brochure disagree on overall length, so it is not shown; height is 66.3 in with the roof rack.
- Fuel. The manual lists the tank as 15.3 US gallons (58 liters).
