Worth knowing about the 2025 QX60
- Wipers. Rain-X lists push-button (PTB) front arms, and the rear blade size is not confirmed.
- LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, daytime running, brake light, tail light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The manual's bulb chart gives no bulb numbers for the exterior lights, so only the LED headlights and daytime running lights are listed.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare, size T165/90D18. Search Amazon for spare tires →
- Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
- Tires. Class S chains go on the front wheels.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 83 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car will not pair on their own by driving; they need a relearn. Method: tool.
- Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The Pure has no roof rails, and on other trims the 220 lb figure is the side rails' service load, so never exceed the crossbars' own rating.
- Garage fit. Allow 16.6 ft of length and 7.2 ft of width with the mirrors out.
- Dimensions. A front license plate bracket adds 0.5 in of length.
- Octane. Premium (91 octane) is required, not recommended; the manual says so.
- Fuel. The manual allows 87 octane only as a temporary measure, with a partial fill and no full throttle.
