Worth knowing about the 2019 Grand Cherokee
- LED lighting. The tail light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Models with premium lamps use D3S HID headlamps and LED turn and running lamps that a dealer services.

- Tires. The manual calls for rear-only, low-profile traction devices such as the Thule XG-12 Pro on the P245/70R17, 265/60R18 and 265/50R20 sizes.
- Wheels. The manual gives 130 ft-lbf for standard models and 110 ft-lbf for SRT and Trackhawk models.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (M3N-40821302) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. The fob comes in 3-, 4- and 5-button versions, and the part number follows the buttons.
- Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Fuel. The 5.7-liter V8 recommends 89 octane, with 87 acceptable.
