Worth knowing about the 2013 Rio

  • Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
  • Bulbs. Headlamp and fog bulbs differ between the sedan and the 5-door.
  • Tires. Cars without the T125/80D15 compact spare carry a tire mobility kit.
  • Wheels. The owner's manual gives the wheel nut torque as a range, 65 to 79 lb-ft (88 to 107 Nm), rather than a single figure.
  • TPMS. New sensors on this car will not pair on their own by driving; they need a relearn. Method: tool.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the Sedan; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
