Worth knowing about the 2021 Seltos
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. These are the halogen-headlight bulbs; LED headlights, fog lights and rear lamps on upper trims are sealed units.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The manual allows SAE Class S or thin wire chains on the front tires only and warns they can damage the alloy wheels, and the compact spare is a T125/80D16.
- Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 79 to 94 lb-ft.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Trims with a smart key and push-button start use a CR2032; the manual does not name the folding key's cell.
- Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. Some trims come without roof rails.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the 2.0L AWD with roof rails; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
- Dimensions. Height is with roof rails; models without rails stand 63.6 inches tall.
