Worth knowing about the 2022 Telluride

  • Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
  • LED lighting. The fog light, daytime running are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. Headlamp and front turn codes are for the halogen LX and S; EX and SX have sealed LED headlamps and taillamps, and the manual lists a 28/8W dual-filament bulb for the rear turn signal on bulb-type taillamps.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
  • Tires. The compact spare is a T155/90R18, and the manual says not to fit chains to aluminum wheels and, if that cannot be avoided, to use fabric (AutoSock) chains on the front tires only.
  • Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 79 to 94 lb-ft.
  • TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
  • Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
  • Dimensions. Height is 70.9 in with the roof rack, and GVWR is 5,776 lb with front-wheel drive and 5,917 lb with all-wheel drive.
