Worth knowing about the 2024 Telluride
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, front turn signal are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Rear codes are for bulb-type taillamps; trims with LED taillamps have sealed LED tail, brake and turn lamps and a different reverse bulb.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tires. X-Pro trims use 245/60R18 all-terrain tires, the compact spare is a T155/90R18, and the manual allows SAE Class S or wire chains on the front tires but says not to fit chains to aluminum wheels and to use wire chains under 0.59 in. thick if that cannot be avoided.
- Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 79 to 94 lb-ft.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (TQ8-FOB-4F71) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. The 2023 redesign brought a new smart key on a CR2450 cell, with part numbers and button counts that vary by trim.
- Roof load. The 220 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Dimensions. Height is 69.2 in with the roof rack, and GVWR is 5,776 lb with front-wheel drive and 5,917 lb with all-wheel drive.
