Worth knowing about the 2021 Corsair
- LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, front turn signal, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate, dome / map light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables, within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
- Tires. Cables or chains of 10 mm or less go on the front axle only, and only with 225/60R18 tires. The Grand Touring's tire size is not shown because the sources disagree.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Octane. The manual recommends 91 octane for full performance and allows 87. 87 will not harm the engine; the higher grade is a choice, not a requirement.
- Fuel. The Grand Touring plug-in hybrid holds 11.2 gallons.
