Worth knowing about the 2014 CX-5
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. Cars with Bi-Xenon headlights use a D4S bulb for both beams and a P13W daytime running light bulb, and fog lights are fitted to some models only.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only; the temporary spare is a T145/90D16 at 60 psi and must not be chained.
- Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 80 to 108 lb-ft.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (WAZSKE13D01) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Fuel. The tank holds 14.8 US gallons on front-drive models and 15.3 US gallons with all-wheel drive.
