Worth knowing about the 2023 CX-50

  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, front turn signal, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate, dome / map light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare, size T155/90D17. Search Amazon for spare tires →
  • Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables, within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
  • Tires. The manual allows chains on the front tires only, and its tire table omits the Meridian Edition 225/60R18, so take that pressure from the door placard.
  • Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 80 to 108 lb-ft.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the 2.5L AWD; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
