Worth knowing about the 2025 CX-70

  • Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, daytime running, front turn signal, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate, dome / map light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare, size T155/90D18. Search Amazon for spare tires →
  • Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables, within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
  • Tires. The manual allows chains on the rear tires only and forbids them on the front tires; the temporary spare is fitted on some models only and the others carry an emergency flat tire repair kit.
  • Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 80 to 108 lb-ft.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the 3.3 Turbo (MHEV); other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
  • Fuel. The 3.3 Turbo S (high-power) engine calls for 91 octane premium; 87 can be used with slightly reduced output.
