Worth knowing about the 2015 Mazda3
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Wipers. The 5-door hatchback also has a rear wiper, and its blade depends on where the car was built.
- Bulbs. The 5-door takes a 7440 reverse bulb, cars with Bi-Xenon headlights use a D4S bulb with LED running lights, and LED taillights have no replaceable bulb.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only; the temporary spare is a T125/70D16 at 60 psi.
- Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 80 to 108 lb-ft.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (WAZSKE13D01) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the 4-door sedan; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
