Worth knowing about the 2017 Mazda3
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- LED lighting. The fog light is a sealed LED unit with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. These are the halogen-headlight bulbs; LED headlights and LED rear lamps are sealed units, and the hatchback's reverse lamp is a 7440.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.

- Tires. The manual allows chains on the front tires only and names no size limit, and the compact spare is a T125/70D16.
- Wheels. The manual gives a lug nut torque range of 80 to 108 lb-ft.
