Worth knowing about the 2022 GLE
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 111 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. The GLE uses wheel bolts rather than lug nuts; tighten them in a diagonal pattern, first to 59 ft-lb and then to the final figure.
- Garage fit. Allow 16.2 ft of length and 7.1 ft of width with the mirrors out.
- Dimensions. With AIRMATIC the maximum height is 72.7 in and the maximum ground clearance 9.2 in.
- Fuel. The manual calls for at least the octane on the fuel filler flap label and premium 91 AKI for full engine output, allowing regular only as a temporary measure.
