Worth knowing about the 2014 Outlander
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Wipers. The 12-inch rear blade fits Mitsubishi's own Rock Lock 3 arm, so buy one listed for this model.
- Bulbs. The H7 low beam is for halogen headlights (some trims have HID), the fog lamp is an H11 or H8 by type, and some cars have LED tail and stop lights.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare, size T155/90D16. Search Amazon for spare tires →
- Tire chains. The manual says not to fit tire chains on this vehicle.
- Wheels. The manual gives wheel nut torque as a range, 65 to 80 lb-ft (88 to 108 N-m), rather than a single figure.
- Key fob. The F.A.S.T. smart key takes a CR1620 instead.
- Roof load. The 110 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the 2.4L FWD; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
- Dimensions. The 3.0L V6 GT has a 5,005 lb GVWR.
- Fuel. All-wheel-drive models hold 15.8 gallons, and the manual recommends premium for the 3.0L V6.
