Worth knowing about the 2014 Juke

  • Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
  • Bulbs. One dual-filament HB5 (9007) bulb serves both headlight beams, and one W21/5W bulb serves the rear turn signal and tail light.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
  • Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
  • Tires. Chains go on the front wheels only, and the compact spare is a different size on AWD models.
  • Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
  • Key fob. Cars with the plain keyfob instead of the Intelligent Key take a CR1620 cell.
  • Dimensions. NISMO models are 163.8 in long and 69.7 in wide.
  • Octane. The manual recommends 91 octane for full performance and allows 87. 87 will not harm the engine; the higher grade is a choice, not a requirement.
  • Fuel. AWD models have an 11-7/8-gallon tank.
