Worth knowing about the 2015 Murano
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- LED lighting. The brake light, tail light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The H11 and H9 codes are for halogen headlights; LED headlights are sealed units.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The compact spare is a T165/90D18, and SAE Class S chains may go only on 235/65R18 tires, never on 235/55R20.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 83 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Roof load. The 100 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The manual limit applies to the cross bars.
