Worth knowing about the 2021 Rogue Sport
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- LED lighting. The daytime running is a sealed LED unit with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. LED-headlight models have sealed LED headlamps and LED front turn signals.
- Tire chains. The manual permits tire chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), within limits on which tires and which wheels. Those limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything. Search Amazon for tire chains →
- Tires. Chains go on the front wheels only, never on the temporary spare. Some models carry a puncture repair kit instead of a spare.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit applies to accessory cross bars on vehicles with roof side rails; never load the rails or roof directly.
- Dimensions. Height is 63.3 in with roof rails.
